He uses prolotherapy and platelet rich plasma for the restoration of healthy joint and ligament function which frequently resolves painful conditions. He also uses massage, spinal manipulation and other traditional physical therapy approaches to help restore comfort and musculoskeletal function. Routine areas of healthcare include hormone replacement therapy, nutritional medicine, herbal medicine and homeopathic remedies when appropriate. Dr. Wilson uses conventional and specialized laboratory testing when it is reasonable to make a diagnosis and track the status of a condition. However, recognizing the cost of laboratory testing, he tries to limit extra costs and knows that conscientious clinical trials and good medical practice can be equally diagnostic and satisfying to all. Intravenous therapy is a regular part of his practice enabling aggressive but gentle care of both acute and chronic conditions. These iv therapies run the gamut from small iv "pushes" for acute colds and flus to large dose Vitamin C , amino acid and hydrogen peroxide drips for more serious or chronic problems including cancer. While not specializing in cancer care, Dr. Wilson is proud to offer adjunctive therapies for cancer patients that certainly improve the quality of life and enhance life expectancy.
